Kelsey Harte

Kelsey Harte (she/her) | BASc MSW RSW

Kelsey received her Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Guelph, and then completed her Master of Social Work degree from Windsor University. Her educational background specialized in early childhood development, education, and family dynamics.

Kelsey has a passion for working with young children and brings a playful approach to clinical treatment. With more than 10 years experience working with children, youth, and families in various settings, Kelsey is skilled at tailoring interventions to meet every individual child’s needs. Her practice utilizes an attachment-based, family systems approach to understand each child within the context of their environments and lived experiences.

Kelsey believes in empowering children to express their feelings in safe ways that help them grow into strong and confident adults. Kelsey has experience working with children and youth struggling with anxiety, low mood or depression, emotion regulation, behavioural challenges, self-esteem, social skills, and family dynamics. In addition to private practice, Kelsey works as a clinical social worker at Ron Joyce Children’s Centre, where she provides mental health assessments and ongoing counselling for children with extensive needs.

Continue Professional Development

Kelsey is dedicated to continuous professional learning and utilizing evidence-based treatment practices. Kelsey has received formal training in multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion Focused Family Therapy.
