You might be here because...living with anxiety can be exhausting. Maybe you've noticed yourself avoiding things you value, feeling limited by fear or uncertainty, or watching your world slowly become smaller. Or perhaps you appear to be doing well on the outside, but internally you're carrying constant worry, self-doubt, or pressure to get everything right. Therapy can be a place to understand these patterns, build confidence, and create more freedom in the way you live.

How I Can Help

I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, perfectionism, overthinking, panic, health anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical, evidence-based strategies to help you better understand yourself, navigate uncertainty, and move toward the life you want to live.

Whether anxiety shows up as constant worry, avoidance, self-doubt, or feeling the need to have everything figured out, our work together will focus on building confidence, increasing flexibility, and helping you respond to life's challenges with greater ease.

What It's Like to Work With Me

For me, therapy is first and foremost a human relationship. Clients often describe me as warm, attuned, and easy to talk to, and I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted as you are.

I pay close attention to both what's being shared and the patterns that emerge beneath the surface, helping us make sense of what may be keeping you stuck. Together, we'll balance compassion and support with gentle encouragement toward meaningful change, using evidence-based approaches to help you build confidence and move forward.

My Approach

My work is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I tailor therapy to each person's unique goals and needs, combining practical strategies with curiosity, compassion, and a strong therapeutic relationship.

Early in my career, I trained and worked at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton, including the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic and the Seniors Mental Health Outpatient Clinic. There, I provided individual and group CBT for anxiety and mood-related concerns while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

I continue to deepen my expertise through advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention, ongoing professional consultation, and continuing education through the International OCD Foundation. While I have specialized training in OCD and anxiety disorders, I enjoy supporting people across a range of anxiety-related concerns, including generalized anxiety, perfectionism, health anxiety, and navigating life's transitions.

A Little About Me

Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me hiking, camping, exploring new coffee shops, tending to my garden, or getting creative through pottery and watercolour painting. I love spending time outdoors and finding joy in the small moments of everyday life. I am committed to ongoing learning and advanced training to provide thoughtful, evidence-based, and compassionate care.
