She is currently completing her Master of Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and previously graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ottawa. She has worked in private practice, supporting children, youth, and families, and gained experience as a Peer Counsellor at the University of Ottawa, providing services in both English and French. At the University of Ottawa, she supported students through stress, relationships, academic pressures, and life transitions.
Ellie enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds who are looking to explore themes ofneurodivergence, emotional regulation, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, self-esteem and grief. She also has a particular interest in working with adolescents, emerging adults, and supporting women and girls with ADHD and Autism. She strives to create a collaborative and validating space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Ellie considers it a privilege to hold space for clients as they share their stories. She believes everyone deserves to feel heard, validated, and supported.
Counselling and mental health have played a meaningful role in her own life, and she feels honoured to walk alongside others on their journeys, creating space for self-discovery and growth.
Personal Life
When Ellie isn’t working, she enjoys staying active, being in nature, thrifting, listening to music, and spending time with her cat, Tina.
